Chinese state-controlled utility Guodian has bought three cargoes of imported thermal coal for delivery to its power plants in south China's Fujian province through tenders it issued last week. Guodian has bought two cargoes of NAR 3,800 kcal/kg (GAR 4,200 kcal/kg) coal at 295 yuan/t cfr Quanzhou and Yn286/t cfr Fuzhou respectively. The prices include 13pc value-added tax and nets back to around $32.50/t fob Indonesia.
