摘要

The risk of being diagnosed with a malignancy between birth to age of 39 years for women in the United States is 2% (one in 49), therefore a substantial number of women are afflicted with cancer durmg their reproductive years [1]. Many malignancies require treatments that can threaten a woman's future reproductive capacity, such as chemotherapeutic drugs or radiation (toxic to the ovary), brain radiation (impairing central hormone function), or even surgery to the female reproductive organs. Young cancer survivors identify infertility as one of the most common late effects of treatment, and one for which they frequently seek follow-up medical advice [2]
