摘要

It is known that dual phase (DP) steels consisting of martensite as a hard phase and ferrite as a soft phase exhibit a good balance of strength and ductility. However, the role of each phase for strength and ductility of DP steels has not been clarified yet. Hardness of martensite is expected to be an important factor for mechanical properties of DP steels. In the present study, a low-carbon DP steel was tempered in order to soften martensite, and effects of hardness of martensite on mechanical properties of the DP steel were investigated.
