The past few years, with the passage of the Affordable Care Act, have been some of the most dynamic in American history. In response to this historic legislation, the seas of change are upon us and the elements of our practices are shifting in many ways, some very clearly defined and some yet unpredictable. To effectively chart a course and brave these rough waters in our practices, obstetricians/gynecologists must understand leadership, teamwork, healthcare financing and the structure of care delivery.
