The G3 and 825 alloys provide excellent combinations of mechanical property and strength, especially corrosion resistance, which can be used in high sour environments. However, the corrosion resistant alloy usually has bad hot plasticity, narrow hot deformation temperature range, large resistance of deformation and so on [1]. In present study, the hot plasticity and its mechanism of corrosion resistant of alloy G3 and 825 were investigated through thermal simulation test, mechanical test and heat treatment test.
