However, the model would not take into account the solute drag, even though the solute drag strongly affects on the phase transformation, and thus on the interphase precipitation, too. , The purpose of the present work is to develop a simulation model for interphase precipitation based on Lagneborg’s ledge mechanism and Odqvist’s solute drag model and to apply it to the Fe-Nb-C system.
