摘要

The hot press forming (HPF) is a new process to produce martensitic grade advanced high strength steel (AHSS) for automotives. This process can give steel large deformation at high temperature and offer extremely high strength (1500MPa) for final product. In present study the austenite decomposition was investigated taking deformation into account. The thermal-mechanical properties of CMnB HPF steel were studied. The influence of soaking temperature, cooling rate, strain and strain rate on the flow stress during press forming and the final room temperature mechanical properties are discussed. The effect of the static aging process occurring during the paint baking cycle on the in-service mechanical properties of hot press formed steel is also analyzed.
