摘要

It is important to know how the bath behavior to reduce the blow time and splashing in top of the converter. The target of this work is to compare works the effect of nozzle twisted, flow and lance height in the jet penetration. In the present work, four nozzle lances with twisted nozzles angles and normal lances in a scale of 30 ton converter that was used to describe the effects of the jet on the bath. Jet penetration and level of splashing were also available. For the four nozzles, the best result to reduce spitting was obtained at the twist angle of twenty degrees hard blow and high flow.
