LG Electronics to buoy demand for coated steel in Egypt

A start-up of major household appliances production by Korea’s LG Electronics in Egypt will predetermine a pick-up indemand for coated steel. Taking into account that the potential for production of the flats is limited in the country, it willbuoy import supplies in the short term, while in the long run it may prompt expansion of production inside the country.
