IMF agreement to become lifeline for Egypt’s troubled currency market

Egypt, which is currently suffering from a huge currency deficit, has obtained a chance to partially solve this problemwith a help of the loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Any improvement in the currency market will easepressure on local importers of steel products and raw materials being tied up by the dollar shortage. Nevertheless, asthe final decision on the loan has not been approved yet, uncertainty is still prevailing in the market.
