China’s HRC exports remain weak on sluggish demand from foreign and local buyers. The market is pessimistic about prices for the near term as iron ore quotes slumped last week. The current HRC export offers are in the range $375-380/t FOB vs. $375-390/t FOB last week. However, this price range is not workable in overseas markets yet, Chinese traders told Metal Expert.
