Iron ore prices were largely flat on Wednesday with market confidence visibly improving as there were signs of some softening of oversupply. Australian 62% Fe iron ore fines were assessed at $48/t CFR, while contract range stood at $46-49/t CFR. “Most offers we were getting today were at $48/t CFR, or a bit higher,” a mill source told Metal Expert. During the last two days there were 11 transactions registered on platforms, the same number as during the whole last week, as buyers decided to restock attracted by low prices.
