Domestic longs prices anticipated to drop in Turkey

Demand is still muted in the Turkish longs market, but producers keep trying to maintain prices amid currency fluctuations. A downtrend in the segment for import scrap will hardly allow mills to maintain current positions further. Besides, little activity in external markets lends no support to domestic suppliers: export prices are now by $25/t lower from those at home.
