With business activity subdued, iron ore prices in China have been stable on Friday. However, even steel mills suppose prices will rise gradually next week. Prices have been rising for the fourth week in a row thanks to stronger demand from trading companies and speculations in the futures market. The weekly increase is $1/t, the monthly one – $6/t. According to Metal Expert’s data, Australian 62% Fe fines have been offered today at $96-97/t CFR, while mills were ready to book at no more than $95/t CFR.
