There is something like a downtime in the Chinese iron ore market in the middle of the week. After quotations of Australian material slumped yesterday, suppliers decided to take a break, which has added more tension to the situation. Their Indian counterparts have chosen to leave the market in order to keep prices from losing $10-15/t.
