The ductility below the ductile-to-brittle transition temperature of the FeCrAlloy is studied by the dynamic mechanical analysis technique. The dynamic storage modulus decreases slowly first, then with the increase of the temperature, it decreases rapidly for the FeCrAlloy and the FeCrAlloy oxidized at 650 deg C. The damping increases little at low temperature, while at higher temperature, the damping increases rapidly. To the FeCrAlloy oxidized at 1100 deg C, the damping increases wavily above 450 deg C because the ductility of the FeCrAlloy can release the residual stress of the oxide scale on the FeCrAlloy.
