摘要

Narrow-dispersion or monodisperse withstable and smooth surface polymer microspheres wereprepared without a significant coagulum by precipitationpolymerization in the absence of any stabilizer. The mono-mer glycidyl metharylate (GMA) was copolymerized withethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as crosslinker byprecipitation polymerization technique with 2,2'-azobisiso-butyronitrile as initiator in neat acetonitrile. The effectsof the content of EGDMA on the polymerization character-istics and size/uniformity of the microspheres wereinvestigated. The onset of the thermal degradation tem-perature at higher temperature and the swelling testsuggest that the prepared particles were highly cross-linked.
