South Korea's Posco reported a net loss of KRW96.2 bn ($79.3 M, ?73 M) for 2015, contrasting withKRW557 bn of net profit the previous year. It is the steel maker's first annual loss since being foundedin 1968.China's slowdown, investment write-downs and a weaker local currency, which inflated the company'soverseas debt, were the main causes for Posco plunging into the red against a background of globaldecline in demand for steel, lower prices and overcapacity in the sector.
