US slaps tariffs on cold rolled steel from seven countries

The US' Department of Commerce has imposed preliminary anti-dumping duties of up to 265.79% on coldrolled steel from China.Japanese producers face levies of up to 71.35%, Brazilian up to 38.93%, British up to 31.39% and Russianup 16.89%, while duties for Indian and South Korean steel companies are at single-digit margins, accordingto the US steelworkers' union USW.
