NMDC to commission pellet plant in India

State-owned iron ore miner NMDC will start commercial output at its 1.2 Mt/y pellet plant in Donimalai,Karnataka state, southwest India, during the December quarter.Trial production has begun at the INR5.72 bn ($85.6 M, ?76.7 M) unit. It will be partnered with a 1.8Mt/y beneficiation plant now under construction, and will enrich low-grade ore for use in the pelletplant.
