The 'fenton like' reaction of MoO_4 ~(3-) involves two H_2O_2 molecules

Surprisingly the oxidation of MoO_4 ~(3-) by H _2O_2 involves two H_2O_2 molecules. It is proposed that generally when the reaction of a reducing agent with H _2O_2, to form a single electron oxidized product and a hydroxyl radical, is endothermic the reaction involves more than one H _2O_2 molecule.
