With interest I read the article by I. Grmek-Ko?nik and A. Krt-Lah on the efforts of the Regional Institute of Public Health Kranj to increase the vaccination coverage against tick-borne encephalitis in Gorenjska, a region in Slovenia with the highest incidence rate of the disease [1]. Low vaccination coverage in such regions is really unacceptable and should be increased.
