Japan’s Spot LNG Prices in Oct US$6.1/MMBTU on Average

According to the survey on prices of spot-LNG, which was released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade andIndustry (METI) on November 10th, the average spot contract price of LNG signed in October was US$6.1/MMBTU.Growing requirements from India and the Middle East through LNG buy tenders have boosted the market, as a result ofwhich the spot contract price rose by US$0.4/MMBTU from a month ago.
