Buller metallurgical coal project aims to exploit several unexplored opencast mining areas within Buller Coalfieldslocated on the west coast of the South Island, New Zealand, and export metallurgical coals produced at these miningareas predominantly to Japan and other Asian countries. Bathurst Resources Ltd., Australia has a 100% interest in thisproject.Escarpment mining area is to be exploited initially from Buller project. Bathurst Resources has begun a smallscalecoal production at this mining area since entering 2015. The coal production volume in the period from January toJune in 2015 was 10,649 tons.
