The Japanese mills' negotiations on hot-rolled (HR) steel coils for the remote regions like Middle East and Central and South America ended for July shipment at levelling off of prices from the previous month. Soon, negotiations for August shipment have come, and if the mills succeed in levelling off of prices for that shipment, it falls on the demand season in autumn from September onward. So, the mills will become possible to raise their prices again. Therefore, it had been important how they had gone through shipments of July and August, and they were to cope with July shipment.
