Russia's Yamal LNG Not to Use Northern Sea Route in Winter

It was found that Yamal LNG Company, which operates Yamal LNG Project, a LNG production project in Russia's Arctic, will not use Northern Sea Route in winter. At present, the company has started the call for tender procedure to procure LNG carriers, which are to be put into operations for the project. In that process, it conveyed its intention to the tender participants not to operate LNG shipping along Northern Sea Route in winter when the sea surface is more easily frozen.
