It is necessary for Japan's electric steelmakers putting out ordinary steel products to adjust their small bar stocks as quickly as possible so that they can forestall a serious problem in their operations, according to Chairman Katsutoshi Kurikawa of the Non-Integrated Steel Producers' Association (Fudenko).
