USA's Imports Of Ferro-Alloys In January 2011 Increased To 163,800 Tons- Increased By 71% Compared To That In Dec. 2010, USA's Exports Also Increased By 5% To 12,000 Tons

According to the trade statistics released by the US Department of Commerce, the quantities ( on material base ) of ferro-alloys imported by the USA in January of 2011 were as per the table (1) shown below. Namely, the USA imported 163,827 tons in total of ferro-alloys in January of 2011, which had a considerable increase of 71.3% compared with that ( 95,621 tons ) in the previous month of December of 2010 and came up to the highest level since May of 2010 ( imported 162,307 tons ).
