Although Wuhan Iron and Steel (WISCO) of China decreased its domestic price of grain-oriented (GO) electrical steel sheets by 2,000 CNY (308 dollars) per ton for August shipment, the market is said to show almost no reaction on this despite of concern for effect on the market. Price drop of NO electrical steel in the market in tandem with WISCO's price will be likely avoidable.
