Nucor Corporation (Nucor) of U.S. announced on Mar 7 that it has broken ground on its Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) facility that will be located in St. James Parish, Louisiana. Nucor received air permit from the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality this January, and the issuance of the air permit allowed the company to commence construction.
