Oji Paper Raising Australian Coal Ratio In FY 2010-In Fy 2009 Russian coal accounts for 60%

Oji Paper intends to raise procurement ratio of Australian coal in the fiscal year 2010. Since the fiscal year 2007, the company has been gradually raising procurement ratio of Russian coal up to 60 percent of total coal procurements in the fiscal year 2009 resulting from the slump in export of Chinese coal, problem of demurrage at Australian coal shipping ports and so on. Since then Australian coal fell down to 30 percent and Indonesian coal to 10 percent, but in the fiscal year 2010 the company intends to raise Australian coal ratio to the same level as Russian coal. In the fiscal year 2008 Russian coal share remained 40 percent and Australian coal share 40 percent with the remaining balance shared by Indonesian and Chinese coal.
