China-Japan LT Trade Maintained From FY 2011 Onward-Agreement signed after approval on basic contract tonnage for both types-

It has become very likely that China Japan Long Term agreement (LT Trade) would be maintained after the fiscal year 2011. The existing Sixth LT Trade (with period from the fiscal year 2006 to 2010) will expire at the end of March 2011, and an agreement has been reached between Chinese and Japanese parties concerned to start the Seventh LT trade in April 2014. The period of the Seventh agreement is expected to be set at five years just like the Sixth LT Trade.
