The price negotiations continuously held between Japanese iron and steel producers and BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance on hard coking coal produced in Queensland, Australia, to be shipped in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2010 (October-December) ended in agreement. The contract price of Peak Downs and Saraji coal, high quality hard coking coal produced in Queensland for the third quarter became 209 US dollars FOB with a downfall of 16 US dollars (7.1%) as compared with the second quarter (July-September).
