A gigantic earthquake ( by magnitude of 8.8 ) occurred in Chile in an early morning on the 27th February of 2010 ( local time ) and, therefore, it is marked to see an influence of this earthquake on production of molybdenum in this country but the agents concerned in Japan informed on the 2nd of March ( local time in Japan ) that both companies of Codelco and Molymet have no serious damage of their facilities and employees in relation to molybdenum production.
