Banpu Shifting Weight Of Coal Export Business To Australia-May newly buy out assets subsequent to Centennial-

There has emerged a significant prospect on shifting of the center of its overseas coal export business from Indonesia to Australia by Banpu Public Co.,Ltd. of Thailand. As reported before, Banpu succeeded in buying out of independent coal company in Australia, Centennial Coal Co.,Ltd, through open takeover bid (TOB). Through the TOB, Banpu has already acquired 98.51 percent shares of Centennial. Sooner or later Banpu is said to be intending to gain all the shares of Centennial by compulsory purchase of the remaining 1.49 percent shares.
