South Korean Companies, Having Acquired Interest Of Ambatovy Nickel Project, Have Increased- Samsun, Hyndai Heavy Industries And Hyndai Corp. Have Acquired It Through KORES

Several leading companies of South Korea have participated in the Ambatovy nickel project in Madagascar. Namely, the following three companies of South Korea have newly acquired the interest of this nickel project through KORES ( Korea Resources Corporation ). The names of these three Korean companies are <> Samsun C&T, having acquired 3% of interest, <> Hyndai Heavy Industries, having acquired 1.5% of interest and <> Hyndai Corp., having acquired 0.5% of interest. The total amount paid by these three companies for their acquisition is US$140 million.
