Having just been elected Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) President, I believe there is much to do to continue the good work started by immediate past president Martin Ast-bury to develop the professional body. The RPS is your private club that no one other than pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists can join. The challenge, as with any club, is to ensure relevance with what you do day to day.
