Influencing change — how does the RPS go about it?

ARGUABLY, one the most important things that the Royal Pharmaceutical Society does for its members in Wales is to influence change in Government policy and the development of pharmaceutical services. But influencing change is not simply a case of walking into the health minister's office and asking for what you want. It takes patience, determination and commitment. It is about having a vision of how pharmacy can improve care for patients and of building relationships with others that encourage new ways of thinking. It is also about tackling issues from lots of different angles.
