Consistent drive and getting involved leads to award for new pharmacist

CONSISTENTLY demonstrating motivation and academic drive throughout the year, and gaining the highest mark for the internal preregistration mock assessments at her hospital trust, were just some of the factors that led to Lauren Rose being named Preregistration Pharmacist of the Year at the annual RPS conference in Birmingham last month. Miss Rose also attained the highest mark among her peers at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust for her audit, which was then chosen by the trust to be entered into the East Midlands regional finals. And she was one of two preregistration trainees in the trust to pass their clinical screening test first time. As a result she now has the responsibility of working independently, covering two wards in the hospital.
