Technician suspended for false entries

A HOSPITAL pharmacy technician who made false transactions on a hospital's computer system has been suspended from the Register for 12 months, by order of the Fitness-to-Practise Committee of the General Pharmaceutical Council. Gary Peter Willingham, registration number 5008851, appeared before the committee on 27 April 2012. Information had been received by the committee that at various times between May 2008 and September 2009 Mr Willingham had entered transactions on the hospital's computer system which falsely recorded that certain drugs had been given to certain patients when there had been no such supply.
