The Pharmaceutical Trust for Education and Charitable Objects is ready to fund a second round of projects for 2011. It is especially interested in community pharmacy work. The Pharmaceutical Trust for Education and Charitable Objects (PTECO) is an independent research charity founded by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. It has awarded funding for three research grants that meet its current priorities. Founded in 1938, PTECO's charitable objects are "the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of the society's charities to promote the education of persons studying pharmacy and chemistry". To meet these objects, the charity's current focus is funding research that informs current and emerging policy issues in pharmacy.
