The executive of British Pharmaceutical Students' Association is pleased with the publication of the 35th edition of the Medicines, Ethics and Practice (MEP).We believe this edition is a positive step forward compared with previous versions for a number of reasons. Pharmacy students and preregistration trainees havepreviously discussed the way the MEP was written. At the BPSA's annual conference in 2009, our members debated and passed a motion stating "that the Medicines, Ethics and Practice Guide should be made more user-friendly". We are delighted to see the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is in agreement with this policy. The removal of much of the legal jargon has made previously arduous sections much easier to tackle, and the restructuring makes the guide a lot easier to navigate.
