Relations between pharmacists and GPs can be productive and collaborative. They can also be destructive and alienating.The differences between dispensing doctors and pharmacists in rural and semi-rural areas do not need to be rehearsed here, but a new slant on the relationship has come from an exchange that took place at the Sigma conference in China, which we report this week (p178).
