In all the discussions that have taken place in the Letters pages of the PJ and elsewhere, the one thing that any rational thinking person agrees on is that we need a professional body. We need a body that is strong enough to influence policy-makers and to speak up for pharmacy when and where it matters.We need a body that will support pharmacists through all stages of their careers and be of real practical value, and we need a body that will have a remit to have a dialogue with our new regulator.
