Catch up with the responsible pharmacist regulations before they catch up with you

Despite calls for the responsible pharmacist regulations to be delayed, the Department of Health has announced that introduction will proceed, as planned, on 1 October (PJ, 12 September, 2009). From this date, it will be illegal to sell or supply medicines without a "responsible pharmacist". So let us, for a moment, forget the debates about personal control, and ask the next logical questions: do you want to (or will you have to) act as a responsible pharmacist and, if so, are you ready?
