Welsh NHS structure a barrier to pharmacy services

The development of community pharmacy in Wales has been fragmented,without any underlying strategic plan,because of the plethora of different commissioning organisations,according to Community Pharmacy Wales.CPW believes the current structure of the NHS in Wales,which includes 22 local health boards(LHBs),has been a barrier to the introduction of services under the pharmacy contract.
