The need for future stability of funding for community pharmacy contractors has been highlighted by pharmacy bodies in response to last week's 2008-09 funding announcement. The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee announced that it had secured additional Government funding for pharmacy contractors in England, alongside further cuts to category M reimbursement prices and that. a cost-of-service review would subsequently take place (PJ, 13 September 2008, p289).
