In an ideal world all patient prescriptions would be sent electronically within the next decade from the prescriber to be dispensed in a pharmacy of the patient's choice,according to a report published by the King's Fund.But the possibility of that becoming,reality appears remote because implementation of the electronic prescription service(EPS)has been slow,says the report"Technology in the NHS"published last week.
