How the Society is working to operate FTP processes fairly and proportionately

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Council has recently agreed to extend the categories of fitness-to-practise complaints that can be dealt with by the inspectorate as"non-referral cases",with the intention that fewer less serious cases will be referred to the Investigating Committee.The Council's decision is the culmination of over 12 months of work by the fitness-to-practise department to refine procedures for addressing fitness-to-practise complaints and to ensure that the Society is operating proportionately and fairly as a regulator.
