Since November 2007, I have worked three days a week as a specialist mental health pharmacist for North Bristol NHS Trust and two days a week as a practice support pharmacist for two GP surgeries owithin a single health centre. It is at one of these surgeries, the Maytrees Practice, that I use my independent prescribing qualification, running two clinics a week, totalling six hours, under the auspices of the local primary care trust (PCT).
